Abstract

The concept of a circular economy has gained traction as a sustainable development strategy aimed at minimizing waste, promoting recycling, and maximizing resource efficiency. This paper examines the principles of the circular economy and their application in various sectors, including manufacturing, construction, and consumer goods. It discusses the role of innovative technologies such as material recovery, product lifecycle analysis, and eco-design in facilitating a shift from a linear to a circular economic model. Case studies from leading global organizations demonstrate how circular economy practices have led to cost savings, reduced environmental impact, and enhanced corporate social responsibility. The paper concludes with policy recommendations and business strategies to scale circular economy initiatives for long-term sustainability.
